Okay, here is your first mistake, you believe what the coach is telling you. ;-) In some ways Meyer reminds me a Jon Gruden at Tampa Bay, Meyer wants all the best toys (fast playmakers). The difference is he is not going to use any of the new ones very much because the ones he already has (Tebow and Harvin) are known quantities. This is especially true in tight games, with the game on the line Tebow and Harvin are the players Meyer wants with the ball. BTW, I agree with this. I don't ever want to loose a game and come away saying we didn't give the ball to Tebow or Harvin enough. I might add that having depth is different than having reserves just as good as starters. Now they are saying the opposite? That is what makes me so mad. They limit our access to information. They tell us all this stuff. And then we find out it is not true. Like all the play makers on offense. It turned out to be Tebow and Harvin again. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [gatortalk] Re: [gatornews] Tebow sorry, promises better days From: John Vega <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, September 29, 2008 10:05 am To: [email protected] On Sep 28, 2008, at 10:53 AM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Noteworthy Gator offensive linemen Jim Tartt (shoulder) and Marcus Gilbert (ankle) both left the game, in addition to running back Emmanuel Moody (ankle).
