Re-sent from correct email, opps! -----Original Message----- From: Tom Clarke [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, September 22, 2008 9:33 AM To: '[email protected]' Subject: RE: [gatortalk] Re: Farfetched Nightmare Scenario IF anything developed related to a possible move by SOS you will likely see it first in Joe Biddle's column in the Tennessean. Joe grew up with Spurrier in east Tennessee and they keep in touch. Otherwise Jon Gruden sounds like a great candidate for Fulmer's job. As a gator fan, I can't see SOS as a VOL in spite of his roots in TN. That would be much worse than having him as a Gamecock to me. Remember "you can't spell Citrus Bowl without UT" and other wonderful comments. Both Knoxville and Tally should be 'off limits'. He knew he would have an uphill challenge in Columbia and hopefully he will hang in there until he does really retire. He was an assistant coach at UT and his wife is from Tennessee and he built a home up in the Smokey Mountains somewhere.
