Kasey, the reigning Star-Banner pitcher of the year who also plays third base, went 13-3 with a 1.02 ERA and 120 strikeouts on the mound for the regional semifinalist Tigers. The junior also hit .506 with seven home runs, 15 doubles and 47 RBIs. Sami, a sophomore catcher/infielder, hit .500, scored an area-best 48 runs and swiped 26 bases on her way to first-team all-area status. The softball standouts are the daughters of Dunnellon head coach Kevin Fagan, a longtime defensive lineman who won championships at the University of Miami and with the San Francisco 49ers. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
