Ps. They are no longer the "Devil" Rays. They are the Tampa Bay Rays.
It seems some folks are hyper-sensitive religiosity types. Duke's in trouble; blue or not. A. Following the Tampa Bay's 3-1 Game 7 win over Boston in the ALCS on Sunday, Florida coach Urban Meyer not only expressed his allegiance to the Rays but that he's pretty fond of their manager, Joe Maddon. "He's a Gator fan," Meyer said of Maddon. "That's one reason (the two have a strong relationship). This time last year (he) actually came to a couple games." Meyer said he and Maddon have a pretty good relationship and he will probably look to reach out to the Rays' head man following the World Series. "He's a little busy," he said. "I haven't called him yet, but I wish him all the best." --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
