polls

Yes, I noticed we were still #4 in the BCS. I was just too disgusted to

We still don’t need to worry. If we win out we are going to be in.

I hope we beat Citadel by 70… And the semis by 80.

I'm trying to figure out the computer rankings, it seems a bit odd.

The claim is that the human polls are 2/3rds of the rankings, but it doesn't
seem to be washing out that way.

We are 2/10ths ahead of UT in one human poll, and over 3/10ths ahead in the
other.

If the computer polls are tight, maybe we stay ahead of UT.

However, its seems that the computer scores are assigned to a grid; first is
.98, second is .96, third is .93, fourth is .85, and fifth is .85.

These numbers seem rigid. So, two teams that are very tight in the computers
- instead of getting a very close score as in the two human polls - get an
arbitrary separation. In the case of the spread between 3rd and 4th, that
spread is large - 8/10ths, almost impossible to overcome even if the fourth
place computer team is third in both human polls.

  Am I misinterpreting this?
