Want a chance to see your Florida Gators men's basketball team in action at home? Well you still can. There are still tickets available for each of the Gators four remaining games at the O'Connell Center. But perhaps an even better question is, *WHY* are there still tickets available? Why aren't the Gator faithful filling the upper portions of the O'Connell Center for every home game? Why are games against Tennessee and Kentucky not sold out yet? This is a team that is just two years removed from winning back-to-back national titles. This is a team that has won 15 games in a row at home and is 13-0 at the O'Connell Center this season. This is a team that has many young stars, including Lake Howell High product Nick Calathes, who just recently surpassed the 1,000-point mark in just his 60th career college contest. The games against Tennessee and Kentucky will both be nationally televised on CBS (local: WKMG-6) and are both heated rivalry games. Wouldn't you think these games would be sold out before January at the latest? The only good thing about this is it gives fans an opportunity to see games without having to worry about paying high prices on ticket sites. So I encourage any Gator fan to purchase a ticket or two and make a short drive to Gainesville and witness a great young team, which I believe could make some noise in March just like the 04's did a few years ago.
