This is a good argument, but it fails to paint how truly bad some of  
Bowden's claimed "victories" are.

Not only are the bulk of Bowden's wins at Howard against Div-II  
opponents, many aren't even against varsity or college football  
teams; to wit:

Samford does not play major college football, and all of those 31  
victories at Howard/Samford were earned against teams not currently  
in Division I-A, including wins over The University of Mexico, Gordon  
Junior College, Millington Naval Air Station, and the Tennessee Tech  
Freshman Team.
