I don't quite buy this argument. It is predicated upon the assumption that the SEC is lousy. I don't know that that is true. Arkansas - weak, yet beat Texas and Oklahoma. Florida? - supposedly weak, yet played Big East power Syracuse (close loss), Pac 10 champ Washington (win on neutral court) and N.C. State from the ACC (a win). Our RPI was about 11 spots higher than Arizona. Washington (a team we beat) wins Arizona's conference at 15 and 5. Arizona goes 9 and 10 in its own conference; 19 and 13 overall.
