I spoke with Leon this afternoon and this is just a short note to let everyone know that he is back in the hospital. It doesn't sound as bad this time as the last time, but anytime you go to the hospital is serious.
Apparently, due to all the laying around he has done since early January, he had an accumulation of fluid in his lungs that no one was aware of. He began to have shortness of breath and his "drop by" nurse decided she needed to call his doctor about it, who promptly had him re-admitted. They inserted a long needle into his lung this afternoon and drew out 1 1/2 liters of fluid, and now he's on pain medication from the procedure. As a side note, many of you will recall his bout with low potassium last summer. Well, his potassium shot up and they had to bring it back down with medication. It seems like everything is just out of "kilter". In Paula's words, "the saga continues". They ask that you continue to remember him in your prayers.
