No, they didn’t serve hamburgers there. They served other things, but no
hamburgers.

Oliver,

You sure you’re not confusing it with the Bambi Motel?

In & Out was good. Yes, it was near downtown. Don’t remember where.

There was also a hamburger joint in the east Gainesville area. The owner
seemed to be the only employee. He added sausage meat to the hamburgers. No
matter how many people came in at once he asked your order once and prepared it
exactly as you asked. Good place, only went there twice. Anyone remember it?

I know there were two In & Out locations in Gainesville , and I think there was
a third on Archer Rd. The other two locations were off 2nd Avenue towards
Main Street and near NW 13th St. and NW 16th Ave. I'm guessing on the exact
locations, although I sure can picture the drive-thrus. I also spent many
hours at the Old College Inn, when there were pinball machines.

This has been a fun discussion!

Leon – I know the In & Out was east of campus. But I do recall one on Archer

Still a bit warm during the days out here in Central TX . #54 in a row over
100°F

Go Gators!
