It's been rivialized, but Paula and I have been there.  And, it should not be
trivialized.

Kissing a child 'goodbye' never ends and never means a thing.  They are always
yours; and you will know this and they will too...someday.  Hang in there.
Suffer.

In two months they will come home unannounced and will not find you home.  They
will call every family phone number they have on the cellphone you are paying
for and will not find you and will be pissed.  Stand tall.  You have succeeded
at parenthood.  They are now able to be parents on their own.

Tell them to call next time.

You will do well if you advise them that you both have developed lives
following their absense without loosing any love from them at all.  Advise them
that this was required by God or what ever source of reason they accept. Ask
them to please call before the come home next time.  Ask them not to bring
their dirty laundry and dishes next time.

Introduce them to Tide and Palmolive.

Best of luck.

p.s.  Make love to your wife nightly for at least 2 weeks.
A. Leon Polhill, Gator

Traffic was pretty bad on 13th St. yesterday. We took our son Shane up to move
into Hume Hall. After we got his room squared away we all went out to lunch
downtown. Getting from University to Museum Rd. was brutal!

But all ended well - Shane made it back to Hume, and the rest of the family
made it back to Melbourne, even though Leslie was in mourning a bit over the
loss of "her baby"...

We'll be back in less than three weeks!
