Great idea. Oddly enough, I have worn royal/Gator blue shirts every day
this week without even consciously choosing to do so. It must just have seemed
like the right thing to do. ;-) Tomorrow and Friday, I'll break out the
official Gator shirts, though.

Cool! I declaring the whole week prior to the game "Orange & Blue"
week, so I'll be wearing... you guessed it... O&B. We should attract some
attention. ;-)

Ok, let’s meet in Murfreesboro . That’ll be insane. 2 days before
the Tennessee game. We might want to call for security wherever we meet. J
I’ll look up a good place in the Murf with directions and get back to
you.

What a coincidence! My first stop is McMinnville, so I go up 111
which takes me right by Fall Creek Falls . I'll be passing the park around 9:00
CT, but since there are no restaurants in the area, we wouldn't be able to meet
for coffee or anything. Won't be back up that way until Thursday week after
next (17th), but we can plan on lunch in Murfreesboro then, if you want. Just
let me know where and when.
By the way, I've been watching the replay of the '94 SEC
Championship! I'm pumped!!! :)))

Can’t make it this week, I’m on my way to Fall Creek Falls for a
meeting on Wednesday.
Let’s do it next week. Maybe we could meet up in Murfreesboro for
lunch there.
I won’t be squealing by then, season will have already started.
Then I’ll be grousing about how poorly we played, beating Charleston Southern
by only 60.

I'm in Shelbyville every other week. In fact, I'll be there this
Wednesday. Wanna plan on lunch? I don't mind meeting you halfway between
Shelbyville and wherever, if you want.
No squealing though. Promise? ;-)

So, Oliver... I was in Shelbyville the other day. Was that you I
could hear squealing like a little girl? It sounded like it was coming down
from Nash. ;)
I agree, my friend... This has been possibly my hardest summer in
the last 44 years. Let's go, GATORS!!! :)))

I’ve been watching a lot of past games the last 2 weeks. I
have a lot of them on tape, as I’m sure most of us do.
It seems to ease the pain of waiting for the season to start.
The writers for the Sentinel are just going by history. There
are very few repeaters as NC. There are even fewer teams ranked number 1 from
the start through the entire season. But…
One overwhelming characteristic each of those past UF
championship teams (either SEC or NC) had was a suffocating defense.
Yes, we had Danny and the high powered offense. We had Tebow
and Harvin too. But, when the flashy offense wasn’t quite in the game yet, the
defense was busy keeping the other team from taking the game away from us.
And, they kept the other offense off the field in every case until our guys
could score and either catch up or get moving and get way ahead.
That is why I think we’ll go undefeated this year. We have a
great offense coming back. I’m quite sure we’ll have several WRs to take up
the slack for Murphy and several players will take up the missing spot of Percy
Harvin. But, the TWO DEEP defense returning, along with the leadership of
Brandon Spikes, is what will get us to the SEC and NC games and we’ll do it
this year undefeated. This defense is ready to go. This team is ready to go.
I’m ready to go!!
Let’s get to the season!!
