Great game. USF dominated completely. Jimbo Fisher is not the savior. He destroyed Auburn's offense and was lucky to get credit at LSU. For whatever bizzare reason, FSU thought he was worth it. Now they wish they had Terry back. FSU completely abandoned the run in the second half. 4 fumbles---they weren't the butterfingers kind. They were getting hit and hit hard. Curiously, I've never seen 3 chop block calls in a single game, 2 of them on USF's center on consecutive plays. 5 sacks---was this really FSU? Daniels lived up to my expectations. A few more starts and he will be a very good QB. Got to the stadium at 9:30 and hit the hospitality tent---live band, free beer, and tons o' food. We ate all we needed and hydrated appropriately. Man was it hot in the stadium. On a very nice note, I got a call around 5:30 from Carl Franks. It sounded like he was in the middle of a riot. Turns out he was on one of the team buses for the ride back to Tampa and the team was going wild watching a movie. Now that's class--he just wanted to know if I enjoyed the game. We had a great chat. He's one of the finest people I've had the pleasure on knowing.
Too bad about Tebow. I hope he recovers fully and Brantley steps up that extra notch. We need him to come in and not see a drop off in production. Go Gators!
