Reportedly, tickets being sold now for the matchup of No. 1 Florida and No. 4 LSU are going for as much as $2,200. Tickets for SEC games normally sell for $50, a woman who answered the phone in LSU's ticket office said Tuesday. "It's arguably the biggest home game for LSU in half a century," said LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette. "And there are no tickets around. I turned my phone off so I wouldn't have to keep telling people I didn't have any." But LSU has a deal for anyone willing to cough up big bucks for the game. The school is auctioning off a chance for the winning bidder and a guest to not only see the game, but take part in some of the team traditions like the walk down Victory Hill and running out of the chute onto the field. They will also get to watch the pre-game warmups with head football coach Les Miles on the sidelines and watch the game from the press box with LSU athletic director Joe Alleva. "We thought it would be something people would be interested in," Bonnette said. The opening bid came in less than an hour after the auction was posted, Bonnette said. It was for $12,000. LSU beat Florida in Tiger Stadium 28-24 in 2007. In 1997 when the Tigers were ranked No. 14 and Florida was No. 1, LSU won at home 28-21.
