I don't remember saying any of that, but I agree with everything else that you said, Zeb.
Are you sure I wasn't commenting on Mary's improved rear end view? A. I do not think that pulling up the 1994 FSU game is a fair comparison. FSU was the returning National Champions, ranked #7 in the country, had already clinched the ACC title, had one of the better offenses in the nation, and was favored to win the game. Kentucky had lost to us 28 times in a row, was unranked, was a huge underdog, and is 76th in the country in scoring offense and 89th in total offense. I would also add that, relying upon my memory, our 1994 defense was very good but not great. I would consider our defense this year to be great, right alongside the mid-80s defenses with Wilber. I don't think that using a historical example that an explosive offense can score points in a hurry proves that an anemic offense can do the same. -Zeb On Oct 13, 2009, at 11:25 AM, Arthur Polhill wrote: From: Mary Weigly <[email protected]> >To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> >Sent: Saturday, September 26, 2009 9:05:04 PM >Subject: [gatortalk] Re: Soooo glad to see him sitting up > > >There is no such thing as a game being "well in hand", since we've >seen a 28-point lead evaporate in the 4th quarter.
