As Helen reported, it was a tense evening in the Swamp. Few people went out for bathroom breaks or concessions during the game. I've never seen such a long line at the women's room in the northwest endzone corner at half-time. Everyone had held out until the break. And, no one left early. It made for terrible traffic jams getting away from the stadium following the game.
The game was a real struggle for the teams and the fans. We enjoyed the Homecoming BBQ in the O'Dome sponsored by the UF Alumni Association along with our daughter and son-in-law. The weather was fantasticly cool...Gainesville's first taste of Fall. A.
