I was watching a game the other day (don't remember which one) and saw
something I'd never seen before. Team a was attempting a long fied goal
which usually have a low trajectory. Team B placed a guy (one of their best
jumpers I guess) down in the end zone in front of the goal posts. The guy in
the end zone leapt and almost blocked the ball as it was passing over the
cross bar. Unless football has some sort of goaltending rule I would assume
it would be a legal block. What say you?
