My disdain for all things Dawg started way before I moved to Jax in 1988. I guess I was born hating the Dawgs... my Atlanta-born parents were both Ga Tech fans. ;-)
Living here has only thrown fuel on the fire of my Dawg hatred. Familiarity breeds contempt. :-) Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: "Gatornet Admin" <[email protected]> Date: Sun, 1 Nov 2009 11:01:09 -0500 To: <[email protected]> Subject: [gatortalk] Re: [gatornews] Bianchi: Unrivaled: Tebow, Gators leave their mark on Dogs If I lived that long, which I won't, I would still hate them in 100 years. Although I already hated them, I lived in Jax for many years before leaving Florida, and you can LEARN to hate them there. Jax REALLY needs to enforce the leash law during the WLOCP! ;-) Randy ----- Original Message ----- From: Ken Kirkley To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, November 01, 2009 10:18 AM Subject: [gatortalk] RE: [gatornews] Bianchi: Unrivaled: Tebow, Gators leave their mark on Dogs I think Robin has lost it. I will forever hate the pups, in large part because of L#&*!# S#&*!# play. If the team ever loses that passion, our dominance will end. Maybe in a 100 years when the pups are playing DII (they have the helmets already) ball and we have a 90 game lead on them, we can stop calling it a rivalry. Ken K MNGator ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Florida's disregard for everything that Georgia once stood for was summed up in a hotel lobby in Jacksonville Friday night. That's when Robin Fisher, a former UF defensive tackle who played in the famous L#&*!# S#&*!# loss to Georgia in 1980, shook his head and said, "You know, I don't even hate Georgia anymore." How can you hate a program you've beaten 17 of the last 20 times? How can you hate a team you've beaten 90-27 the last two seasons? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
