We just played 2+ games without Spikes, winning them both. Our D was nothing short of astounding, even without Spikes. We're playing Vandy this week, for Pete's sake. Spikes could suit up for the other team, and we would still win. Meyer disciplining Spikes for a half instead of the entire game had nothing to do with the desire to win.
