I would love to think so, but I cannot imagine going through an entire season barely throwing the ball downfield, then expecting the Gators to be able to flip a switch and turn it on and be successful at it.
Also, how do you account for all the sacks? Are the receivers not getting open, or are they open but Tebow can't get the ball to them? Again, I cannot imagine asking the offense to keep it plain vanilla for twelve games, then expecting them to start "chucking it downfield" (as SOS used to say.
