I think that Tebow would work out - one way or another.  The lower his salary - the more likely they could find a place for him on the team. 
 
I don't know if Tebow would beat out an NFL QB or not.  I think he would have to play to draw fans though. 
 
Jaguars may have to make a deal with him like - we'll bring you on as a QB - but in case you don't make it as the starting QB - are you willing to play WR, RB, FB, TE, or whatever to get on the field?  Keep Tebow as the 2nd or 3rd string QB - but in the meantime play him in the slot, as wildcat QB, etc. 
 
I don't really follow the NFL enough to know how "dual threat" QBs do.  I guess Michael Vick was doing well before the dog incident.  How is the guy from Texas (Vince Young?) doing?  I thought that Alex Smith (Utah and ex Urban Meyer QB) failed in NFL.
