Some of it sounds rather dramatic, as was taken even further in that direction by a number of posters, and he has clarified what he meant, and even provided updates that indicate that it wasn't as dire as it can be interpreted to be. The new post, that I haven't been able to read yet (no flash at work!) is supposed to show the other side of the coin.
