That one writer for GC - I think it is Franz? - annoys the heck out of me.
It seems like he writes an article and then tries to put as much pompus BS in the article as possible just to piss people off. Its like he is a woman's novel writer in a men's sports world.
I start reading his articles - quickly start thinking - what is this guy trying to say - what is the point of this article - why can't this guy just come out and say what he wants to say - this guy is a %#$^@&$# - and get so mad that I have to stop reading.
That is the downside of that site for me.
Their gator counry TV is a plus.

Actually, I do find GC to be worth it. The writers at GC are far superior to
the other sites as both Franz Beard and Buddy Martin are long time sports
writers and journalists. Additionally, Urban Meyer selected Buddy Martin to
author his book, I believe it is call "Urbans Way". Buddy has written
several good books on the Gators over the years. Now the worst criticism
that the FG detractors can make against them is that they see the world
through Orange and Blue Glasses. To me that is not a negative...... SO DO
I. I am an unabashed homer, and I like that about a "Gator" site. I don't
need to have supposed Gator fans telling me that they are glad Tebow is
leaving because Mel Kiper is right about him and he will be a bust in the
NFL. I'm looking for Tim to have a Hall of Fame career and prefer to cheer
for him to accomplish it. Just my way of looking at all things Gator. :-)
And I get really tired of Pat Dooley's veiled shots at Coach Meyer because
he doesn't have the open access to the program he enjoyed under the Zooker.

That is why I bought GatorBait for so many years - their analysis was
excellent.
I'm not into any of them to sit around and chat in forums.
I like Bob Redman at Scout / Fighting Gators and Mark Wheeler at Rivals /
GatorBait.
I do like the TV stuff that Gator Country does. Gainesville Sun does that
now with Pat Dooley.
Do you still find Gator Country worth it?
