Apparently Herbstreit talked to Urban who says he has a heart muscle defect
that is not immediately life threatening but could be if he didn't slow down
and start taking care of himself. I doubt he made the decision lightly.

Lou Holtz had some comments on this tonight and I had to agree. If Urban does
not have a life threatening illness (which is what they're saying), perhaps he
is just exhausted and burnt out from the season. That's not a good frame of
mind to be in when you're making such a huge decision. I wonder if he will sit
out a year, get rested and bored, and then end up coaching somewhere else.

This reminds me so much of eight years ago when we found out Spurrier was
leaving.

I feel bad for all the players, recruits and assistant coaches having to now
go through so much uncertainty.'
