He and his family traveled throughout the southeast looking for the right
trainers and coaches to help him prepare for this week. He settled with
former Georgia and NFL quarterback Zeke Bratkowski, and the training staff
at D1 Sports Training outside Nashville. Tebow said he chose the Nashville
location over several in Florida because it allowed him to "get away from
the hoopla."
"It just felt like it was what I needed," Tebow said. "I felt like I could
get away and work as hard as I want to, and grind and stay focused as much
as I want."
Tebow began his days at 7 a.m. in Nashville and worked until 7 p.m. In
addition to training and working out, Tebow said he is spending a lot of
time trying to clean up his throwing fundamentals, specifically his footwork
and keeping the ball tucked high and tight by his head before he throws.
