We may be wondering off into THFGT ... 

 

Whenever you are #1 - you are going to be very polarizing. 

 

For example, when we win National Championships there are a lot more very happy fans and  a lot more very unhappy fans. 

 

Since Tebow is the #1 player in college football - there are a lot more happy fans (they sold out the senior bowl) and unhappy fans. 

 

I agree with you.  Tebow is everything that is right.  YOu don't have to say he will be a NFL all pro QB - but to say that he will never make it as a pro NFL Qb and should change positions now - is rediculous.

Seriously, Keith.  I have wondered so much about this.  When there are so many college players in the news for doing bad things, why do we hear so much bias against Tim Tebow?  Are they jealous?  Are they so different from him that they just can't believe he's the genuine person that he is?  Do they think he's put on a pedestal without basis so they want to knock him off of it?  I just don't get it at all.  Even an old heathen like me - who doesn't at all share TT's religious convictions - can see that he's a genuinely good person.  It's disheartening.

 I don't remember all four incompletions but I thought that the first 3 incompletions were 2 dropped balls and 1 tipped ball.  Fumbles I can not excuse.  BUt this is usually a defensive game. 

 

Tebow was not the worst QB in the game (probably that QB from WV was the worst). None of the QBs looked great. I would say that Tebow was tied as one of the best QBs. 

 

What was most outstanding in this game was the bias AGAINST Tebow.  I don't understand how anyone could be against Tebow when he is embodiment of all things good about young kids coming up these days.

MOBILE, Ala. — Mardy Gilyard had 103 yards receiving and caught a 32-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to help the North race to a 31-13 victory over the South in Saturday's Senior Bowl.

The Cincinnati receiver didn't need to hook up frequently with college teammate Tony Pike to be the game's big playmaker. Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, meanwhile, had a shaky outing running a pro-style offense against a sturdy defense.

He fumbled twice and finished 8 of 12 passing for 50 yards in the showcase for senior NFL prospects.

One of the nation's top all-purpose threats, Gilyard also set up a third-quarter touchdown with a 43-yard catch down the right sideline. Both that pass and the TD came from Central Michigan's Dan LeFevour.

Michigan defensive lineman Brandon Graham forced had two sacks and was chosen the game's Most Valuable Player.
