Oh, Cee, those memories are so similar to mine. I remember getting that acceptance letter from UF, but I know I became a Gator when I went to Gainesville the first time and stood in the Plaza of the Americas and looked at those amazing buildings and KNEW this was where I belonged. I went home and sent the application to Gainesville immediately. When anyone in Tennessee ask why my daughters are Gators, they simply say..."it's in my DNA!!!". I love that commercial and I tear when I see it, especially the one when the graduate hugs her parents...I did that very same thing!!

I guess my son became a Gator even before he was born... when I bought a little Gator sleeper for him to wear home from the hospital. They've been firmly indoctrinated since before birth. LOL.
