Most of the club sports get some funding from the university. Some use that for coaching stipends, others for travel or training needs. I played Lacrosse at UF and we had two coaches that received stipends, our jerseys were paid for and the officials, etc all came out of the student activity fees. Now of course, that was 20+ years ago, so never mind.
