I think I'm fine, just sore all over. The collision occurred at about 20mph. If you think that doesn't hurt, line up 8 of your best friends, 4 on a side. You are right that I was still in a bit of shock when I left you a message last night. While Paula had picked me up from the crash site and taken me to Shands, she had not been in my truck with me during the collision. I was doing an errand about 4:45 and was alone, thank goodness. I was throughly checked out with full body CT scan and blood and urine tests and all systems are fine. I just have some minor skin damage on both hands and the inside of my left forearm from the airbag deployment. Let me add to the seatbelt prayer a word of thanks for the airbag. Without it, I'd still be in the hopital or worse. I have a sore neck and chest, strap-burns in a few spots, but otherwise am fine. You a re right, we missed the game but were able to see it on TV in the waiting room. We left Shands at 4:45am this morning. A. I’m assuming it happened on the way to the game, so they apparently missed the game. He sounded a little shook up when he left a message on my voicemail, and he said “thank God for seatbelts”. Just remember them today because even if they’re ok, they will be in pain for a few days.
