Johnson was issued a notice to appear in court for the incident, which happened at 1:45 a.m. near Beaty Towers on Museum Road. University Police reported that Johnson, who appeared drunk, demanded that a Student Nighttime Auxiliary Patrol <http://www.police.ufl.edu/csd/csd_snap.asp> driver take him and his girlfriend to his off-campus apartment and threatened the group’s funding when he was refused. He told the driver that “student government should pull its funding from this (unknown expletive) program,” according to a police report. The Student Nighttime Auxiliary Patrol, known as SNAP, provides nighttime escorts on campus. Johnson claimed that he received rides from SNAP to his apartment on a regular basis because he is student body president, according to police. Johnson declined comment.
