When I was facing death several times from many directions this time last year, he was there, on the phone, organizing a collection for flowers, sending an over-sized card to keep up my spirits and let me know that you all cared. Keeping the Gator cookout going by pulling a large, barely portable grill from Chatanooga to Gainesville to be sure we had a way to cook at Payne's Prairie State Park. Putting up with Swofford and PC as long as he did. Because we agree on far more than we disagree.
