The only "course" I've ever taken was a mandatory "Defensive Motorcycle Driving" course the Navy required in order to get a base sticker at Mayport. One thing the instructor told us that has always stuck with me is when he said "ALL four-wheelers are trying to KILL YOU!". Now, THAT will make you practice "defensive" driving. I also took the rider's safety course here in Nashville back in 2002 when I first started riding and my first bike was a 2003 Honda Shadow 600. I owned it for about a year before I got a Honda CBR600. It was a 1999, if I remember correctly. You guys are making me miss it even more! :-) _____
