One must consider the politics of the situation. Alumni and fans paid to see
Tebow. If he didn't get a minimum number of carries per game the coaches
surely would have heard about it. 

I don't  believe for one minute that our coach even considers the desires of
even the biggest boosters when it comes to play selection. I can imagine him
bristling at any outside suggestions like that. I'm sure he'd say his job is
to win, and that he's the best judge at how to do that.

I agree that Tim very well may have been coached that "when in doubt, tuck
it and run", but only because the coach felt that we'd have the best chance
at winning by taking care of the ball and letting our defense keep the other
teams from outscoring us.
