One must consider the politics of the situation. Alumni and fans paid to see Tebow. If he didn't get a minimum number of carries per game the coaches surely would have heard about it. I don't believe for one minute that our coach even considers the desires of even the biggest boosters when it comes to play selection. I can imagine him bristling at any outside suggestions like that. I'm sure he'd say his job is to win, and that he's the best judge at how to do that. I agree that Tim very well may have been coached that "when in doubt, tuck it and run", but only because the coach felt that we'd have the best chance at winning by taking care of the ball and letting our defense keep the other teams from outscoring us. -- GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -- GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us
