Has Robbie lost his mind?  This is NOT AN SEC GAME!  It is an interesting
non-conference traditional match up and rivalry game and is not important for
UF
in reaching it's goal of SEC Champion or National Champion.

We lost to FSU the year we won the SEC Championship and our first National
Championship.

No. 9 Florida at Florida State
When: Nov. 27.
Why it's must-see TV: This is one of the most intense rivalries in all of
football. The hate is present no matter where the teams are ranked or what
their
records are coming into the game. The Seminoles look like they're on the road
to
recovery under new coach Jimbo Fisher. A win on Nov. 27 likely would indicate
the Seminoles are back as national contenders.
All-time record: Florida leads the series 33-19-2.
Recent history: The Gators are on a six-game winning streak against the
Seminoles that started with a victory in Tallahassee in 2004. Urban Meyer is
5-0
against the Seminoles.
Quick hit: Ron Zook still catches lots of grief from UF fans. But you have to
give him this: He helped reverse one of the most depressing trends in UF
football history when he beat FSU at Doak Campbell in his final game at UF. It
was the Gators' first win in Tallahassee since 1986. The legendary Steve
Spurrier was 0-5-1 coaching at Doak, which shows you how bad things used to be
for the Gators in Tallahassee before Zook flipped the switch in 2004. The
Gators
haven't lost there since.
