Now, thanks to EA Sports and Nike, fans of the former Florida quarterback
can literally walk a mile in his shoes with the EA Sports x Nike Trainer 1.2

Player Editions that were unveiled this week to coincide with Tebow's
appearance on the cover of the popular NCAA Football 11.
The limited edition shoes are made of blue synthetic leather with an orange
midsole and green accents. Perhaps the most interesting part of the shoe is
the word "PROMISE" on the left heel with the date "September 27th, 2008"
printed below it, marking the day of Tebow's famous postgame speech
following a 31-30 loss to Ole Miss that many fans look at as the catalyst
behind the Gators making a run to capture the BCS Championship on Jan. 8,
2009. As an added treat, Tebow's speech is printed verbatim on the insole of
the shoe.
On the right heel, the shoe features the year marking Tebow's Heisman Trophy
(2007), the years Tebow won the BCS title game (2007, 2009) and his
All-America years (2007, 2008, 2009). The shoe also has the EA Sports logo
on the tongue and "NCAA 11" in green and white letters across the velcro
strap.
The shoes will be released in "extremely limited quantities in the very near

Tebow has a multi-year deal with Nike that he signed before being taken with
the 22nd overall pick in April's NFL Draft.
