Someone should hand this fellow a roll of toilet paper and ask him if he knows
what it's for.  If he immediately throws it over a tree, he should go to Auburn.

I said I didn't know." - Mark Twain

At Florida 's annual Friday Night Lights on July 23, there was a talented group
of defensive backs that took the field in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Alex Dixon ( Clearwater , Fla. ), Charles Jackson ( Klein , Texas ), Chris
Johnson ( Tampa , Fla. ), De'Ante Saunders ( Deland , Fla. ), Robenson Therezie
( Miami , Fla. ) and Nick Waisome ( Groveland , Fla. ) turned in the top
performances at the event.

However, one prospect missing from the group was Ft. Lauderdale cornerback
Marcus Roberson.
The Saint Thomas Aquinas standout did not participate in any drills, but
decided
tocome down and support his fellow players.

"I was just here with my teammate Rashard Greene," he said. "We were watching a
couple of our teammates perform. They did good."
Roberson still found time to chat with head coach Urban Meyer and wide receiver
coach Zach Azzanni, his primary recruiter.

"I talked with coach Meyer and coach Z about their school and how they would
love to have me," he said of the conversation. "They didn't want to press me
too
much on my decision, but it went well."
The UF coaching staff offered Roberson a scholarship during the May evaluation
period. In June, an unofficial visit to Florida propelled the Gators into the
number one spot on his leader board.
Since then, there have been conflicting reports about who leads for his
services. Auburn , Florida and Texas A&M are his top three schools and each
have
been listed as his favorite over the past month.
On Friday, Roberson set the record straight.
" Auburn is my (new) leader," he said. "Texas A&M, they were the first so to
offer me so they're still in the mix right behind Florida ."

Roberson admitted that when he named Florida as his leader, it was mainly
because the initial emotions he felt after visiting the campus.

At this point, Roberson is still drawn to the depth chart at UF and his ability
to trust the Gator coaches.

He plans on making a commitment before the start of his senior season, and
wants
to do his homework and let things settle down before reaching his final
decision.

"I fell in love with Auburn right after I visited just like I fell in love with
Florida right after I visited," he said. "So from here, it's just me picking
what's best for me by doing more research.
