I really like what they did with these "all world" "five star" true freshmen. First practice - lined them up with the meanest SOB they could find and knocked the crap out of them. Just leveled. Pancaked.
Made them realize - the first practice - that unless they work hard and improve a lot - they won't see the field. Being rated five star doesn't mean anything at this level. Unless they learn and perfect technique - they'll be nothing more than a five star bench warmer. But these are phenomenal players. We'll see how far and fast they progress. Never had a chance to interact with the players during practice. Heck, on the far field, I couldn't even tell who was who. -Zeb -- GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -- GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us
