How about "Games People Play" by Joe South. I'm thinking it was popular around 1968.
I am pretty sure it was in the fall of 1968 when I was in 9th grade. I remember dancing to the song at a post football game dance, and I know who I was dancing with. Weird how just thinking about one song can bring back so much information, isn't it? In an amazing turn of events, that same boy found me on Facebook last week, even though I moved from that area in 1969 and haven't seen him since. Um... I don't think it's a match made in heaven or anything after reading his profile. He lives in Montana now and seems about as far to the right as I am to the left, but it was kinda fun that he'd still look for me on FB after more than 40 years. And, to connect this thread to another you guys had me laughing thru today, I believe that boy was wearing Hai Karate that night. LOL.
