Given that his identical twin has played center, probably back to the Pee Wee 
football days, I suspect that Pouncey had never played Center until this spring.

Bob Griese kept commenting that he was playing the position like a Guard, 
pulling before he had finished the snap. That makes sense - the guy has been a 
Guard for probably 15 years.

While I admire the idea of sliding Pouncey over given his identical twin's 
success at the position, I think that it is an experiment that has failed.

To be frank, I think that the coaches realized that it had failed a few weeks 
ago, when they indicated that they were sliding Pouncey back to Guard. Robey 
then injures his right elbow (you could see it wrapped during the game), and 
Pouncey is put back at center.

The question that ought to be asked by reporters is why Robey is not on the 
injury list and what is his prognosis. Can he play with pain? Does he risk 
further injury by playing?
