In the words of a certain former F$U coach whose daughter works at Shands, "Not so fast, my friend." We have lost a few recruiting battles with both Miami and F$U.
If F$U has a horrible year, then the Jimbo myth is busted. Miami does look better but they are still not ready for prime time. Neither F$U's or Miami's QBs are good enough to lead the team very far. Both make way too many mistakes. I agree that having a strong F$U would be better for our SOS at the end of the season if the BCS is on the line. However, unless we continue to improve each week at the same rate as we did this week, I am doubtful about seeing a BCS bowl, much less a championship game. Go Gators! Both Miami and F$U are being soundly beaten. OSU 36 Miami 17 with about 1 quarter to go. Oklahoma 44 F$U 7 with about 1 quarter to go.
