Burton scored on that first drive. Pretty pathetic that replay did
not overturn.
At least two significant passes (on to Thompson one to Moore in the
end zone) were incompletions due to DB hacking the receiver's arm
before the ball arrived.
Remember, we outgained Bama. This was not men against boys, it was a
tough game where we could not afford any mistakes. Our halftime
adjustments were spot on.
Some refs that aren't from Birmingham might have helped, but we can
beat this team if we play mistake-free football.
