Another grasshopper eager to know the ultimate unfolding of Gator history.

Who's been the Gator coach with the most dramatic impact on current Gator
football? Not even close.

We play him Saturday.

We were "on the cusp" of greatness many time before Spurrier got here. We had
no "official" titles, but it wasn't like he walked into a program that
perennially had losing seasons, or one that couldn't or didn't recruit a lot of
great players.

How many national championships did SOS win without Danny W?

I still give the edge to Spurrier, who created a winning tradition. Meyer just
had to revive it after our unfortunate Zook interlude. I want to see Meyer win
a national championship without Tim Tebow before I hand him the title.

Interesting poll question today:  Who will go down as the greatest football
coach in Gator history?

Steve Spurrier

Urban Meyer

Right now, with 900 votes, it's Meyer 64%, Spurrier 36%.
