Actually, there was talk of an extension for him before the Florida vacancy came up... Word was that he was waiting to announce the extension until this weekend, when we had a bunch of recruits on campus... And yeah, I'm happy he's staying... His buyout for the next two years is $18 mil and for the two years after that it's $15 mil. And that's whether he wants to leave or we want to fire him. So if he's going to job hop, it's gonna cost someone a pretty penny... Personally, I like it because Petrino could easily have tried to alter the contract so he would have outs to other jobs, but this shows his dedication to the job too... BTW, can't wait to see how Muschamp works out for y'all... Hope it's all good!
