I don't necessarily agree with all of this.

As long as recruits don't know what direction we are going, some will look
elsewhere.  This hurts even in the dead period.

Also, you can GUARANTEE that there is a LOT of negative recruiting going on
about this while our opponent's are out there with coaches in place.

Muschamp could easily reach an agreement in principle with future coaches, and,
while they cannot recruit or make contact, they could start their contracts
after the bowl game.

A recruit knowing what is coming is much better than nothing... nothing can be
used against us.

It's not hurting us yet.  You are allowed to have 9 assistant coaches and right
now, those 9 are preparing our team for the Outback bowl.  I believe he is
probably waiting on coaches that currently have jobs and have teams in bowl
games, therefore he has to wait until their season's are over.

The reasons its not hurting yet:
- Up to this point the focus has been on keeping our currently committed
players
in the fold, to a large extent this has been successful
- Starting tomorrow it is a recruiting dead period until January 3rd
- There seems to be a larger than usual number of coaching changes this year.
This not only affects our hiring plans, but it also affects other schools
recruiting when they have to deal with the rumors of where every coach is said
to be going.
- We are Florida.

Happy Holidays!

And recruits and returning players want to know!
I hate to say it, but waiting is hurting us....

I wish some speculation or something would start again about who will be the OC
and DC. After the initial press conference Muschamp has been silent, as have
the
media.

Its more neuheisal trying to save his job. Norm needs talent. USC has it all,
he
will be a scapegoat for neuheisal to stay another year or 2.
We have talent... norm might work here...

Norm Chow is good. I wonder why it isn't working at UCLA.

Ralph Friedgen was just forced out at Maryland...
Norm Chow is under review by Neuheisel who is cleaning house at UCLA.
Both have college and NFL experience....
