It's interesting we have both Barnhardt's and Bianchi's viewpoints. It could go
either way. It might be an incredible disaster of egos or a team effort that
proves to be a great success. The more I look at it the more I think it might
work. Muschamp and Weis must have discussed their roles/personalities. If they
didn't they're nuts!
You're right in that there will be some bumps the first year, Stephen. But,
after that, if they stay together as a staff, look out! This could be a
football whirlwind that catapults the Gators to unheard of success.
That said, with the talent on the team, there shouldn't be too many bumps.

 coordinator coup at UF

I agree, next year is going to have it's rough spots, completely changing
the system with the schedule being tougher would indicate that.

However a few points, I didn't take from the article that Charlie Weis is
"the savior" of UF rather you have a guy that's never been a head coach
before, who specializes in defense taking over and going out and hiring a
guy who has an exceptional resume of coaching offense.

On the surface that has to be a positive.

Like Bianchi notes, based on their resumes, who would you rather have, Weis
or Addazio ??

Not saying history will repeat itself, but when Steve Spurrier arrived, we
completely changed the system and it worked really quickly....

I love how Bianchi is inaugurating Weis as the savior of the UF
offense before he's even called a play. Thats the equivilent to
predetermining UGA as the Preseasons #1 favorite because they had an
NFL caliber QB. Howd that work out?

Im just sayin right now... be very cautious and very very level
headed. Next year is gonna be rough.

And I am personally charging Cathy to remind me of this as we text
each other from opposite ends of the stadium during the games next
season. LOL
