The Gator crowd was actually a little more constrained in the beginning, the Penn State people were really hyped up. I think the Gator fans were cautious to be excited because of how awful the offense had been this season...and of course, as we all know, Johnny B threw an interception on our first possession, so that may have taken the wind out of everyone's sails (you know, that "Oh, geez - here we go again" feeling). There were more Gators than PSU fans there, but not tremendously more.
We unfortunately were in the south end zone with the PSU fans and band, but there wasn't any fan foolishness, outside of a PSU fan who shouted, "Go home, Gators!" I was sorta like, "Dude, where do you think we are?" It was great weather for a game and really, just about any seat at Raymond James is pretty good - it's smaller than The Swamp (holds about 60k I think) and the sightlines are pretty good everywhere.
