I think it might be a return to what SOS' offense SHOULD have been called: the RUN and GUN. An analysis of that offense reveals an almost perfect balance between running and passing plays. The uncertainty that caused for defenses along with play design to set up mismatches player-on-player resulted in the high productivity of the Spurrier approach to the offense. SOS also appreciated the value of an aggressive defense. "Get me the ball back quickly," became his defensive strategy. I believe the Muschamp era will look similar. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
