Trevor will be a little jealous. He loves that area and had thought
seriously about FAU. I have a friend who questioned me about the prepaid
tuition program in Florida and criticized it because the kid really has to
go to a State college or university to really make it worthwhile. I assured
her I would be happy with my children going to ANY of the fine State
universities in Florida! Hmph. Well, except that one that makes kids wear
ketchup and mustard colors. Eww.

Congrats---Looks like I'm heading for Boca Raton next week. It's all good!
My daughter is thrilled, regardless.

Same here... both my daughter and niece are anxiously awaiting the results.
My niece is pretty much a lock and wants to go there, but my daughter has
already decided to go to Flagler (she found out a couple months ago about
her acceptance there and fell in love with the place on our last two
vacation trips). I suppose there is still a 5% chance I can change her mind
if she gets into UF, but considering Florida is twice the cost for us out of
staters, I'll probably just be quietly proud of her instead : )
I still have two more kids that are hopefully UF material... just have to
get my butt back to the sunshine state in the next few years so I can reap
the benefits of in-state tuition and scholarships.
Good luck with your son, Steve!
Go Gators!

This evening is when applicants for UF will find out if they've been

Keep your fingers crossed for aspiring young Gators, including my son Jason!
