Has anyone on the list been to Satchel's Pizza & Lightning Salvage in
Gaineville?

Holy cow, it is the wildest restaurant I have ever been to. For anyone that has
been to My Blue Heaven in Key West, picture that, but make it more bizarre. I
mean, they have giant wind chimes made out of hub caps.

We ate our pizza in an abandoned Chevy Van that had been decorated with
Christmas lights.

This review gives a good flavor of the place:

It is a must visit while in Gainesville. Fair warning, we had almost an hour
wait for a table - during the summer! I can only imagine what it is like when
school is in session.

My recommendation - call ahead for a to go pizza. There are more tables than
there is waiter service, so many of the tables are reserved for take out
orders. There is a nice open air pavilion in the rear that features live music,
is all "to go" tables and has a guy in the corner who sells sodas and beers.

That makes more sense than waiting for a table and missing out on the live
music. Granted, you need to bus your own table when you are done, but that's
not such a big deal.
