I recall the death penalty was only invoked if your school committed a major violation if it was already on probation. SMU did that. I also think we would benefit as much as anyone if the Miami program shut down. Why shouldn't we? There was a wide receiver prospect halfway between us and them who should come on over to UF now. Miami should voluntarily suspend the program until they get an institutional grip on management, something they never seemed to have.
